Thank You for Standing by Mohammed Farees
We are deeply grateful to share a hopeful update about Mohammed Farees, a brave 13-year-old boy from Muslim Mettu Street, Nellikuppam, Cuddalore District, who is courageously facing a life-threatening heart condition.
Farees, a Class 8 student at his local government school, was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect—small to moderate perimembranous VSD, RCC prolapse, and the Gasool phenomenon. Doctors have advised an elective surgery involving VSD closure, resection of RVOT, and Aortic valve repair—a critical procedure that will pave the way for a healthier, more active future.
With an estimated cost of ₹2,80,000 for the surgery, ICU stay, post-operative care, and medications, the burden was too heavy for his family. Farees’ father, Jailabu Deen, a daily wage worker with an unstable income, struggled to gather the funds.
But your generosity changed everything. Thanks to the incredible support of kind-hearted individuals and charitable organizations, the full amount required for Farees’ surgery has now been raised. His family is deeply thankful and relieved, as they prepare for his upcoming procedure with cautious optimism and hope.
Farees is now waiting for his surgery—his heart full of dreams and his spirit lifted by the compassion of people like you.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for giving Farees this fighting chance. Your support has given hope where there was fear and strength where there was uncertainty.
We look forward to sharing good news after his surgery. Until then, thank you for being a part of Farees’ journey.
