Further tests revealed a serious heart defect, confirming his parents’ early concerns about his rapid heartbeat. In 2021, he underwent his first major surgery — the Damus-Kay-Stansel Procedure and Atrial Septectomy — at MIOT Hospitals.
Recently, doctors advised a follow-up procedure — the Fontan Completion surgery, a crucial next step in ensuring his long-term well-being. With the estimated cost of ₹4,50,000, covering surgery, ICU stay, and post-op care, the burden was too heavy for his father, Mr. Muruganandam, a carpenter whose daily wages barely support the family’s needs.
But then, something incredible happened — you stepped in. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of compassionate individuals and charitable organizations, the full amount for Thashvik’s surgery has been raised. His family is now preparing for the next stage of this journey, as they await the surgery for the life-saving procedure.
