Mr. Ghanshyam Sharma and Ms. Rajkumari are migrants from Rajasthan who have settled in Chennai in search of a livelihood. Their 10-year-and-9-month-old daughter, Reethu, is currently studying in Class 3 at a government school.
She was screened at Kilpauk Medical College Hospital during a cardiac camp organized by MIOT Hospitals. Further evaluation at MIOT Hospitals revealed that she has been diagnosed with Multiple apical muscular VSDs, Severe Infundibular and Valvar Pulmonary Stenosis (PS), Stretched PFO shunting right-to-left, and Severe Right Ventricular Hypertrophy.
The medical team has planned an Intracardiac Repair + partial closure of PFO. The estimated cost of this surgical procedure is ₹3,50,000/-.
Mr. Ghanshyam Sharma works as a tile mason, earning about ₹700 per day, but his income is unstable and depends on the availability of daily work. The family has no other means of financial support and is unable to afford the necessary treatment for their daughter.
Hence, we sincerely request your support to help save Reethu’s life. Your contribution can make a life-changing difference for this young child and her family.
