Child Srivari, a 5-year and 4-month-old boy from Villupuram, who is studying in Class I. Until recently, he was a cheerful and active child with no health issues. However, in May 2025, Srivari developed a severe fever and cough. When taken to a private clinic, doctors suspected a heart problem and referred him to MIOT Hospitals for further evaluation.
After detailed investigations, the doctors from MIOT Hospitals diagnosed Srivari with a rare heart condition called Coronary Cameral Fistula from RCA to RA, (an issue which causes blood flow in the wrong direction, which can strain the heart and cause problems if not treated).
The medical team has advised to undergo Transcatheter Occlusion of the Fistula using a Vascular Plug, a specialized procedure that can correct the defect without open-heart surgery. The total cost of the procedure, including ICU stay, investigations, and medications, is Rs. 2,00,000/-.
Srivari’s father, Mr. Pavadai, is an agricultural labourer who earns a very modest income, barely enough to meet the family’s daily needs. He is unable to afford this life-saving treatment for his son.
We humbly appeal to your generosity to help Srivari get the medical care he urgently needs. Your kind contribution will bring hope and a healthy future to this little boy and his family.
