K. Nasima, a 17-year-old student from Ayanavaram, was recently diagnosed with a heart condition during a routine school health camp. Further evaluation at KMC, Chennai, and later at a camp conducted by MIOT International Hospital, she was diagnosed to have Subaortic Ridge causing severe Subaortic Stenosis, Mild AR, and Moderate LV Dysfunction.
She has been advised to undergo Early surgery – subaortic ridge excision ± aortic valve repair at the earliest to prevent further complications.
Nasima lost her father, Mr. Kadar Basha, and is currently being raised by her mother, Mrs. Gowshiya Bee, who works as a helper in a small belt-manufacturing company. With limited income, the family is unable to afford the cost of the surgery.
The total estimated cost for surgery, ICU stay, hospital care, investigations, and post-operative treatment is ₹3,25,000.
We appeal to kind-hearted donors to come forward and support this young family in their time of need.
