Thashvik was born in July 2019. He was three months old when he went for his first immunization cycle. The next day, the baby developed a high fever. When they went to see the doctor, they were told he had a congenital heart problem. The parents had noticed he had a rapid heartbeat at birth, but they thought it would settle down.
In the year 2021, he was referred to MIOT Hospitals, where the medical team performed the Damus Kay Stansel Procedure + Atrial Septectomy.
Now he had been advised to undergo elective surgery – Fontan completion. The estimated cost of the surgery is Rs. 4,50,000/- (including surgery, ICU & hospital stay, post-op investigations and medications).
Thashvik’s father, Muruganandam, is a carpenter by profession, residing with his family at Lalgudi, near Trichy. He earns Rs. 700 a day, which is an unstable job, but his limited income is not enough to cover the high medical expenses associated with the surgery.
As a result, we are reaching out for financial support from kind-hearted individuals or organizations who can assist in funding the surgery. Your contribution would play a crucial role in helping Thashvik undergo the life-saving procedure and improve her chances for a healthier future.
