CHIME, in collaboration with the MIOT Centre for Children’s Cardiac Care (MCCC) in Chennai, India, has been a lifeline for children with congenital and rheumatic heart diseases. Over the past 17 years, this partnership has successfully facilitated more than 1,300 cardiac surgeries, offering critical care to many children from lower economic families who are unable to afford necessary medical treatment.
