14 Apr 2025 Amos, a 8 Years 5 Months old boy currently studying in Class III at a Government school. He was born with a congenital heart disease at a Government hospital, and just 20 days after his birth, his condition worsened, requiring him to be shifted to a private hospital for urgent medical attention. There, he was stabilized and eventually discharged, but his journey with heart complications continued.

In the year 2023, during a cardiac screening camp conducted by the MIOT medical team, Amos was once again diagnosed with a serious heart condition. Following a detailed consultation, doctors identified that he was suffering from Severe LVOT obstruction by sub-aortic membrane, Mild AR, LVH, normal LV function.

The medical team has recommended Elective surgery for relief of LVOT obstruction, sub aortic membrane resection + Aortic valve repair. This surgery is crucial to prevent further complications and to ensure that Amos can live a healthy and active life like any other child his age.

The estimated cost of the surgery is ₹3,00,000 an amount far beyond the reach of Amos’s family. His father, Mr. Munikrishnan, is a daily wage laborer who struggles to provide for his three children while managing the household’s basic needs. With limited resources and no steady financial support, it is impossible for him to arrange such a large sum for Amos’s treatment.
