Madhevan Ruthrappa and his wife, Ms.Sampangiamma, hail from a small village in Krishnagiri District and lead a life of modest means. On 25.10.2025, their family was blessed with a baby girl, bringing immense joy and hope into their lives. However, this happiness was short-lived when, soon after birth, the child developed severe breathing difficulties.
The newborn was immediately admitted to Hosur Government Hospital, where she required ventilator support and intensive care for nearly one month. During this difficult period, the parents watched helplessly as their fragile child fought for survival.
Later, during a free cardiac screening camp conducted at Krishnagiri Government Hospital by MIOT Hospitals, preliminary investigations raised serious concerns about the child’s heart condition. She was advised to undergo further evaluation at MIOT Hospitals, Chennai. Detailed investigations revealed that the child is suffering from Unobstructed Supracardiac Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Connection (TAPVC) – a rare and life-threatening congenital heart defect.
Doctors have strongly recommended early corrective heart surgery – TAPVC repair to save her life. The estimated cost of the procedure is ₹4,50,000, an amount far beyond the family’s financial capacity.
Mr. Mahadevan works as a daily-wage loadman, earning just enough to meet basic needs. With no savings and mounting medical expenses, the family is struggling to cope and has exhausted all possible resources. This tiny child’s life now depends on timely medical intervention. Without surgery, her chances of survival are extremely limited.
We humbly appeal to kind-hearted individuals and organizations to extend financial support to help this family afford the life-saving surgery. Your generosity can give this little girl a chance to live, grow, and experience a healthy future.
