Baby Anisha
Mr. Balakrishnan, a Nadi astrologer from Thirupattur district, earns only Rs. 4,000 a month. His 9-month-old daughter, Anisha B., was diagnosed with a serious heart condition before birth during a scan.Anisha was born at the Thirupattur Government Hospital. Just five days after birth, she was referred to a private hospital for further treatment. Since she was underweight, Anisha was advised to continue medications. Recently, during a free heart screening camp by MIOT Hospitals, she was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot with absent pulmonary valve (a rare and critical heart defect).
The medical team at MIOT has recommended urgent surgery to correct the condition. The procedure involves intracardiac repair and RV-PA conduit for correction of the same. The total cost of the procedure, including ICU care, hospital stay, and medicines, comes to Rs. 3,65,000/-.
Unfortunately, Mr. Balakrishnan is now out of work and struggling to support his wife and three children. With only minimal help from Anisha’s grandfather, the family is barely managing daily expenses.
They are now in a very critical situation and need urgent help to save baby Anisha’s life.
