Kalish, a 4-year-old child from Dharmapuri district has been diagnosed with severe heart disease from birth. Kalish’s parents, particularly his father, Mr. Elayaraja, a painter by profession, have consulted various Government Hospitals and doctors over the years but could not find a lasting solution to his son’s heart problem.
In 2021, when the MIOT team conducted a free cardiac screening camp at Dharmapuri Government Hospital, they were fortunate enough to learn about Kalish’s critical condition. Following the camp, Kalish was referred for further evaluation and subsequently diagnosed with TOF and a large sub aortic maligned VSD. Kalish underwent the Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) repair surgery at MIOT Hospitals.
While the surgery was a step toward improving Kalish’s health, he now requires a cardiac catheterization + Bilateral PA stenting procedure. The estimated cost for this procedure is Rs. 300,000/-, which is beyond their financial means.
Unfortunately, Mr. Elayaraja is the sole breadwinner of his family, and his income as a painter is insufficient to cover the mounting medical expenses. Moreover, Ms. Santhi’s child’s mother is nine months pregnant, and Mr. Elayaraja’s financial and emotional burden is overwhelming.
Hence, we kindly request your generous support to help us save Kalish’s life. We look forward to hearing from you and sincerely hope for your support.
