Srivari

01 Nov 2025 Patient photo 5-year-old Srivari from Villupuram was a cheerful little boy with no health issues until May 2025, when a sudden bout of severe fever and cough changed everything. Worried, his parents took him to a private clinic, where doctors suspected a heart problem and referred him to MIOT Hospitals for further evaluation.

Following thorough investigations, the medical team at MIOT Hospitals diagnosed Srivari with a rare heart condition called Coronary-Cameral Fistula, from the Right Coronary Artery (RCA) to the Right Atrium (RA). This defect causes blood to flow in the wrong direction, putting extra strain on his heart and potentially leading to serious complications if left untreated.

The doctors have recommended a Transcatheter Occlusion of the Fistula using a Vascular Plug, a specialised procedure that can correct the defect without open-heart surgery. This minimally invasive procedure is safe and effective, but the estimated cost, including ICU stay, investigations, and medications, is ₹2,00,000, a sum far beyond what Srivari's family can afford.

Srivari’s father, Mr. Pavadai, is an agricultural labourer who works tirelessly to provide for his family. His modest income barely covers their daily needs, and he is in no state to afford this life-saving treatment for his little boy.

Your support can save Srivari's life by helping him receive the urgent medical care he needs. Your generous contribution will bring hope and a healthy future to this brave little boy and his family.
