Thamizhainiya R., a 14-year-old girl from Chennai district, is currently studying in Class X at a Government school. A bright and cheerful student, her life took an unexpected turn during a school health screening camp organized by MIOT Hospitals, where doctors detected a heart murmur.
Following a detailed evaluation at MIOT Hospitals, Thamizhainiya was diagnosed with Rheumatic Heart Disease with Severe Mitral Regurgitation (NYHA Class II) – a serious heart condition requiring elective mitral valve repair surgery at the earliest. The estimated cost of the procedure is Rs. 3,00,000/-.
Her parents, who work as agricultural laborers for daily wages, and her elder brother, an ambulance driver, are doing their best to support the family. However, with their limited income, raising the full amount needed for the surgery is beyond their reach.
We humbly seek your kind support and generosity to help fund Thamizhainiya’s treatment. Your contribution can go a long way in giving her a healthy future and a second chance at life.
