Rithish is a 15-year-old boy from Dharmapuri district who has just completed his 10th board exams. Like any student his age, he dreams of studying Biology and Mathematics and building a bright future.
Since the age of one, Rithish has suffered from Tetralogy of Fallot, a serious heart condition. Due to severe financial difficulties, his family could not afford complete treatment. In 2018, he underwent a temporary procedure (BT shunt) that has helped him survive until now. He was referred to the free cardiac screening camp conducted by MIOT hospitals at Dharmapuri Government Hospital. After the initial screening he was advised to come to MIOT Hospitals for further evaluation.
After thorough evaluation Rithish was advised to undergo Intracardiac repair with RV–PA conduit and removal of the previous shunt. The estimated cost of the treatment is ₹4,50,000/-
Rithish’s father is a daily wage labourer who struggles to provide even basic needs for the family. Arranging such a huge amount is impossible for them.
Despite his health challenges, Rithish is a bright and determined student who wants to continue his studies and achieve his dreams. Your support can save his life and give Rithish a second chance at life.
