Sai Siddharth, a 5-month-old infant from Gummidipoondi in Thiruvallur district, has been fighting for his life since birth. Born preterm with low birth weight, he has faced numerous medical challenges from his very first days. In addition to severe respiratory distress that required immediate ventilator support, he was also found to have multiple congenital complications, including a serious heart condition.
Soon after birth, he was shifted to a private hospital for intensive care. As his condition remained critical, his parents sought further medical guidance at a Government Hospital for his heart problem. There, the attending doctor referred the family to MIOT Hospitals for specialized cardiac evaluation and treatment.
After a detailed assessment, Sai Siddharth was diagnosed with several complex congenital heart defects – Heterotaxy, levocardia ASD, DORV, Pulmonary Stenosis, and unobstructed supracardiac TAPVC. Given the severity of his condition, the medical team has advised an urgent TAPVC repair combined with a Glenn procedure to save his life.
The estimated cost for this life-saving surgery is Rs. 3,75,000.
Sai Siddharth’s father, Mr. Nagaraj, works as a store assistant in a small private firm and earns only Rs. 15,000 per month. The family has already spent around Rs. 1,00,000 on his initial preterm care by borrowing money and mortgaging their jewellery. Having exhausted all their limited resources, they are now in an extremely distressing situation and unable to gather the remaining amount needed for the urgent surgery.
We earnestly and humbly request your generous financial support to help give Sai Siddharth a chance to survive and grow. Your contribution can make a life-changing difference for this struggling family.
