Baby Mohammed Murshid – A Step Closer to a Healthy Future

02 Mar 2026 Patient photo

Baby Mohammed Murshid, a 1-year-and-6-month-old child from Chennai, has been bravely battling a complex congenital heart condition since birth. Although no abnormalities were detected during prenatal scans, doctors identified concerns soon after his delivery at Egmore Government Children’s Hospital. Further evaluations confirmed a serious heart defect requiring specialised care.

During a paediatric cardiology camp conducted by MIOT Hospitals at Tiruvallur Government Hospital, Murshid was diagnosed with pulmonary atresia, VSD, and MAPCAs. The medical team advised a unifocalization of the left and right-sided MAPCAs along with an aorto-pulmonary shunt procedure to correct his condition and improve his chances of survival.

With the generous support of donors, the required funds of ₹3,00,000 have now been successfully raised, bringing immense relief to his family. Baby Murshid is now being prepared to undergo his essential life-saving treatment under expert medical care.

Our Heartfelt Thanks to Our Supporters

We extend our sincere gratitude to every donor who came forward to support Baby Murshid. Your kindness has eased a significant financial burden on his family and given this little child a chance at life.

Because of you, Baby Murshid is one step closer to a healthier, brighter future.

Thank you for being an integral part of this life-saving journey.
