Urgent Funds Needed to Save Harish’s Life

08 Apr 2026 Patient photo

Master Harish, a 13-year and 7-month-old boy from Cuddalore district, is currently studying in Class 9 at a Government school. At just 3 months of age, he developed severe breathing difficulties and was taken to a Government hospital, where he was diagnosed with a congenital heart disease. Since then, he has been on continuous medical care and medication.

Harish’s father, Mr. Arumugam, works as a van driver and earns a modest monthly income of Rs. 12,000. Due to his struggles with alcoholism, the family faces severe financial and emotional hardships. Despite these challenges, Harish’s mother, Ms. Gowri, has been striving tirelessly to ensure proper treatment for her son.

In 2021, through a reference from a family friend, Harish was admitted to MIOT Hospitals, where he underwent a tricuspid valve replacement and mitral valve repair. Following the surgery, he was diagnosed with severe prosthetic valve stenosis and congestive cardiac failure, which is currently improving. He was also treated for suspected infective endocarditis.

During his recent medical evaluation, doctors advised an urgent redo surgery involving mitral valve repair and replacement of the tricuspid prosthetic valve. The estimated cost of this life-saving procedure is Rs. 4,50,000.

Unfortunately, Harish’s family cannot bear this financial burden. They desperately need support to proceed with the treatment.

We humbly request your generous contribution to help save this young boy’s life and give him a chance at a healthy future. Your kindness and support can make a life-changing difference.
