Urgent Funds Needed to Save Faritha’s Life

Mr. Ansar and Mrs. Faritha, a poor Muslim couple from Krishnagiri, have endured immense hardship in their 19 years of married life. After losing two babies due to miscarriages, recently they were blessed with a baby girl. However, their happiness soon turned into sorrow when the child was diagnosed with a serious congenital heart disease (CHD) during pregnancy itself.

At just 5 days old, the baby was taken to a private hospital in Bangalore, where doctors confirmed her critical heart condition. Later, through the guidance of a Village Health Nurse, the family attended a free cardiac screening camp conducted by MIOT Hospitals at the Government Hospital, Krishnagiri.

After detailed evaluation at MIOT Hospital, the baby was diagnosed with Mesocardia, Situs Solitus CTGA, Large Subpulmonic VSD, and Mild Coarctation of Aorta. The medical team advised Coarctation Repair with PA Banding surgery to save the child’s life.

The baby is suffering from a rare and serious congenital heart disease in which the heart’s structure and blood vessels are abnormally formed, affecting normal blood circulation and requiring urgent corrective surgery to save her life. The estimated cost of the surgery and treatment is Rs. 3,00,000/-.

The baby’s father, Mr. Ansar, works as an itinerant scrap collector in the bicycle to run his family and daily wage labourer earning around Rs. 500 per day through unstable work. The family is struggling even for their daily necessities and is completely unable to arrange such a huge amount for the operation.

In this difficult hour, we earnestly appeal to compassionate donors, philanthropists to extend financial support for this innocent child’s life-saving surgery.

Please support this child and give her a second chance at life.
