Baby Geethalakshmi V, aged 1 year and 2 months, the only daughter of Mr. Venkatesan and Mrs. Rajalakshmi, residents of Thiruvannamalai District.

Baby Geethalakshmi was born in a Government Hospital and was later found to be suffering from a congenital heart condition after experiencing symptoms such as a cardiac murmur, poor weight gain, and recurrent respiratory infections. Following medical advice, she has been on continuous treatment and medication.

She was subsequently referred to a free cardiac screening camp conducted by MIOT Hospitals at the Government Hospital, Tiruvannamalai. After a detailed evaluation at MIOT Hospitals, she was diagnosed with Moderate-sized Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) with RCC prolapse and Mild Aortic Regurgitation (AR). To correct this condition and prevent further complications, doctors have advised her to undergo VSD Closure and Aortic Valve Repair at the earliest.

The estimated cost of the surgery and associated treatment is Rs. 3,00,000/-.

Baby Geethalakshmi’s father, Mr. Venkatesan, works as an executive in a shoe company and earns a modest monthly income of Rs. 15,000/-. Due to their limited financial resources, the family is unable to meet the substantial medical expenses required for their daughter’s life-saving treatment.
