Master Prabakaran C is a 3-year-7-month-old boy from Chennai who was born with a congenital heart disease. When he was just three months old, he developed a fever and a cold and was admitted to a Government Hospital, where he continued to receive regular medical care.
During a free cardiac screening camp conducted by MIOT Hospitals at Stanley Medical College Hospital, Prabakaran underwent an initial evaluation and was later referred to MIOT Hospitals for further assessment. After detailed investigations, he was diagnosed with a small to moderate-sized Ostium Secundum Atrial Septal Defect (OS ASD). His doctors have advised an elective ASD device closure to prevent future complications and ensure a healthy life.
The estimated cost of the treatment is ₹2,00,000, which covers the procedure, ICU care, hospital stay, medicines, investigations, and other associated medical expenses.
Prabakaran’s father, Mr. Christopher, works as an RO service technician and earns a monthly income of ₹18,000. He is the sole earning member of the family, and his modest income is only sufficient to meet their basic daily needs. The family is unable to arrange the funds required for their only son’s life-saving treatment.
Your generous contribution can help give little Prabakaran the heart procedure he urgently needs. We sincerely request your kindness and support in helping save this young child’s life.
