Little Roshani, aged 1 year and 11 months, is from Tiruvallur district. Since she was just 3 months old, she has struggled with health problems. She had a severe cold, cough, congestion, and an unusual heart sound. Her parents took her to several hospitals, where doctors suspected a heart problem.
Later, with the help of the Village Health Nurse, Roshani attended a free cardiac screening camp conducted by MIOT Hospitals at the Government Hospital, Tiruvallur. After further tests at MIOT Hospitals, she was diagnosed with a moderate-sized PDA and advised to undergo an early PDA device closure procedure to prevent further complications and help her lead a healthy life.
The cost of the treatment is ₹1,40,000, which includes the procedure, ICU care, hospital stay, medicines, investigations, and other medical expenses.
Roshani’s father, Mr. Nagaraj, works at a vehicle washing shed and earns around ₹3,000 per week. He is the only earning member of the family, and his income is just enough to meet their daily needs. The family is unable to arrange the money needed for Roshani’s treatment.
Your generous support can help give this little girl the life-saving heart procedure she urgently needs.
