Master Pukaneshkumar, a 5-year-3-month-old boy from Dharmapuri District, is studying in Class I at a Government School. Until recently, he was completely asymptomatic and appeared to be a healthy child. During a routine medical examination conducted at his school, doctors detected signs suggestive of a congenital heart disease. He was referred to Dharmapuri Government Hospital to attend a free cardiac screening camp conducted by MIOT Hospitals. Following the initial evaluation, he was advised to undergo further assessment at MIOT Hospitals
After detailed investigations, Pukaneshkumar was diagnosed with a Large Posterior ASD, PAPVD of RPLV to RA. If left untreated, these conditions may lead to enlargement of the heart, pulmonary hypertension, and long-term complications. Considering the severity of his condition, the medical team has recommended early surgical closure of the ASD, re-routing of RPLV to LA.
The estimated cost of the surgery is ₹2,85,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Eighty-Five Thousand only).
Pukaneshkumar’s father, Mr. Gopal, works as a daily wage labourer at construction sites, earning approximately ₹800 per day. However, his work is seasonal and irregular, resulting in an unstable income. As the sole earning member of the family, he struggles to meet the household expenses while also supporting the education of his children. Given the family’s modest financial circumstances, arranging the amount required for Pukaneshkumar’s life-saving heart surgery is beyond their means.
We therefore make a humble and heartfelt appeal to extend your generous financial support for Master Pukaneshkumar’s surgery.
Your valuable contribution will help ensure that this young boy receives timely treatment and the opportunity to enjoy a healthy, active, and bright future.
