Master Nithishwaran is an 8-year-old boy from Dharmapuri District. He is currently studying in Class 2 at a Government school.
During Ms. Meena’s pregnancy, Nithishwaran was diagnosed with a congenital heart condition. He was delivered at a private hospital and was subsequently referred to other hospitals for further evaluation and treatment. The family also sought medical care at various hospitals over the years.
During a routine medical examination conducted at his school, doctors once again detected signs suggestive of a congenital heart disease. He was referred to Dharmapuri Government Hospital, where he attended a free cardiac screening camp conducted by MIOT Hospitals. Following the initial evaluation, he was advised to undergo further assessment and treatment at MIOT Hospitals.
After detailed investigations at MIOT Hospitals, Nithishwaran was diagnosed with Pulmonary Atresia, a large malaligned subaortic VSD, restricted ductus arteriosus, and hypoplastic branch pulmonary arteries.
Considering the severity of his condition, the medical team has advised him to undergo complete repair (ICR) with an RV–PA conduit to correct the heart defect.
The estimated cost of the surgery is ₹4,80,000/-.
Nithishwaran’s father, Mr. Settu, works as a daily wage labourer at construction sites and earns approximately ₹700 per day. His work is seasonal and irregular, resulting in an unstable income. As the sole earning member of the family, he struggles to meet the household expenses and support the education of his children.
Given the family’s limited financial circumstances, arranging the amount required for Nithishwaran’s life-saving heart surgery is beyond their means.
We therefore make a heartfelt appeal to extend generous financial support towards Master Nithishwaran’s surgery.
Your valuable contribution can help this young boy receive timely treatment and give him the opportunity to lead a healthy, active, and bright future.
