Sudhish, a 6-year-old boy from Thiruvannamalai District, is fighting a serious congenital heart condition and urgently needs your support.
Sudhish is currently studying in Class 2. He was diagnosed with congenital heart disease when he was just one month old. His parents took him to various hospitals seeking treatment, but due to the complexity of his condition, they were told that his chances of survival were very low.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, the family faced even greater difficulties and could not take Sudhish to hospitals for continued treatment. Later, through the help of a known person, they came to know about MIOT Hospitals, where Sudhish was brought for further evaluation and treatment.
Sudhish was diagnosed with a large VSD amounting to a single-ventricle physiology, along with other complex cardiac conditions. In 2022, he underwent PA banding and atrial septectomy. His current condition includes antero-posteriorly related great arteries, with the aorta positioned anterior to the pulmonary artery, a tight PA band in situ, and wide interatrial communication.
Doctors have now advised Sudhish to undergo Primary Fontan surgery, which is essential for his further treatment. The estimated cost of the procedure is Rs. 4,50,000/-.
Sudhish’s father, Mr. Durai, is an agricultural labourer and earns approximately ₹500 per day, with no stable source of income. The family has exhausted their financial resources and is unable to arrange the amount required for their son’s surgery.
For this family, ₹4,50,000 is an overwhelming burden. For Sudhish, it represents a chance at life.
Your generosity can help this little boy continue his education, grow up with his family, and look forward to a healthier future.
