Immanuel Michael
Mr. Jagadeesan and Ms. Selvi are from Thiruvallur district. Their younger son, Immanuel Michael, was diagnosed with congenital heart disease just three days after he was born. At only one year old, he was found to have Complex DORV (200%), a large muscular VSD, and severe pulmonary hypertension (PAH).
Since his diagnosis, Immanuel had been receiving treatment at various government hospitals. However, his condition needed a more advanced procedure.
He was referred to MIOT Hospital, where doctors recommended a PA banding surgery to help manage his heart condition. The total cost of the surgery and related expenses was ₹2,00,000 – a sum his family couldn’t afford. His father, Mr Jagadeesan, a driver by profession tried his best, but the cost was beyond their reach.
Understanding their situation, financial support was provided to help with the medical expenses. On 24.05.2025, Immanuel successfully underwent the surgery and was later discharged from the hospital.
After his first medical follow-up, Immanuel has shown good progress and is leading a healthy life.
