Priyadharshini – A Step Closer to a Healthy Future

28 Jan 2026 Patient photo

Priyadharshini, a bright 16-year-6-month-old student from Thiruvallur district, had always been active and healthy, with dreams of completing her education and building a better future. Her life took an unexpected turn during a routine school health check-up, where doctors identified signs of a heart condition.

She was referred to a free cardiac screening camp conducted by MIOT Hospitals at Thiruvallur Government Hospital. Further evaluation at MIOT Hospitals, Chennai, revealed a serious congenital heart defect—hemianomalous drainage of the right-sided pulmonary veins into the right atrium. Doctors advised corrective heart surgery to restore normal blood flow and prevent long-term complications.

With her father working as a daily-wage construction labourer earning around ₹900 per day, arranging the required ₹2,80,000 was a major challenge for the family.

With the compassionate support of generous donors, the required funds have now been successfully raised, bringing immense relief and renewed hope to Priyadharshini and her family. She is now one step closer to receiving the life-changing treatment she needs to return to her studies and lead a healthy life.

Our Heartfelt Thanks to Our Supporters

We extend our sincere gratitude to every donor who supported Priyadharshini in her time of need. Your generosity has lifted a significant financial burden and brought her closer to a brighter, healthier future.
Because of you, Priyadharshini can continue to dream, learn, and achieve.

Thank you for being an essential part of her journey.
