Puviarasi, a 13-year-old girl from Chemancheri near Chennai, grew up unaware of an underlying heart condition. Her family — supported by her father’s daily-wage construction work and her mother’s care at home — had limited resources and little access to specialised medical evaluation.
Her condition first came to light during a routine school health check-up, after which she was referred for further assessment. During a medical camp conducted by MIOT International Hospital at KMC Chennai, doctors diagnosed a small sub-pulmonic VSD with RCC prolapse and mild AR. To prevent complications and support her healthy growth, the cardiac team advised early surgical VSD closure.
With the generous support of donors, the required funds of ₹2,60,000 have now been successfully raised, lifting a heavy financial burden from Puviarasi’s family. She is now preparing to undergo her essential cardiac treatment under expert care.
We extend our sincere gratitude to every donor who stepped forward to support Puviarasi. Your kindness has restored hope for her family and brought her one step closer to a healthier future. Because of you, Puviarasi can look forward to growing stronger and living an active teenage life.
Thank you for being an important part of this journey.
