Master Mohammed Murshid, a 2-year-and-5-month-old child from Chennai, was brought to the hospital by his parents for what they expected to be a routine medical review. However, after evaluating his condition and reviewing the investigation reports, the doctors advised immediate hospital admission for a further cardiac procedure. This unexpected development has come as a great shock to his parents, who had arrived at the hospital hoping for a routine check-up but are now faced with the emotional distress and financial burden of arranging further treatment for their little child.
Murshid has a complex congenital heart condition and has already undergone multiple stages of cardiac treatment. He is now advised to undergo cardiac catheterisation to assess blood flow through the branch pulmonary arteries, with balloon angioplasty if required. The estimated cost of this procedure is ₹1,50,000.
His father, Mr. Arif Mohammed, is a daily-wage labourer earning approximately ₹800 per day when work is available. His income is irregular and uncertain, while his mother, Mrs. Saira Banu, is a homemaker who cares for their little child. The family already struggles to meet its daily necessities, and this unexpected hospital admission has left the parents deeply worried about how they will arrange the money needed for their child’s treatment.
We sincerely appeal to you to help this little child. Your generous contribution can help ease his parents’ financial burden and support the medical care he needs.
