Baby Geethalakshmi V., aged 1 year and 2 months, is the only daughter of Mr. Venkatesan and Mrs. Rajalakshmi from Thiruvannamalai District.
She was born in a Government Hospital and was later diagnosed with a congenital heart condition after experiencing symptoms such as a cardiac murmur, poor weight gain, and recurrent respiratory infections. Following medical advice, she has been receiving continuous treatment and medication.
Baby Geethalakshmi was referred through a free cardiac screening camp conducted by MIOT Hospitals at the Government Hospital, Tiruvannamalai. After a comprehensive evaluation at MIOT Hospitals, she was diagnosed with Moderate-sized Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) with RCC prolapse and Mild Aortic Regurgitation (AR). Doctors recommended VSD Closure and Aortic Valve Repair at the earliest to prevent further complications and ensure a healthier future.
With her father earning a modest monthly income of ₹15,000 as an executive in a shoe company, arranging the required ₹3,00,000 for her surgery was beyond the family’s financial means.
With the compassionate support of generous donors, the required funds have now been successfully raised, bringing immense relief to Baby Geethalakshmi’s family. She is now preparing to undergo her much-needed surgery under the expert care of the cardiac team at MIOT Hospitals.
We extend our sincere gratitude to every donor who came forward to support Baby Geethalakshmi. Your kindness has eased a significant financial burden on her family and given them renewed hope during this challenging time.
Because of your generosity, Baby Geethalakshmi is now one step closer to a healthier future.
Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and for being an invaluable part of her journey toward recovery.
