Miracline Riana is a three-month-old infant from Adambakkam, Chennai, fighting for her life from the very beginning. Soon after her birth in a private hospital, she developed severe breathing difficulties and a bluish discoloration of her body. She was immediately referred to a Government hospital, where doctors diagnosed her with Down syndrome and a congenital heart disease.

Seeking the best possible care for their little daughter, her parents consulted specialists at another private hospital. After detailed evaluations, Miracline was diagnosed with a Complete Balanced Atrioventricular Septal Defect (AVSD), a serious congenital heart condition that requires urgent surgical correction.

Following medical advice, the family approached MIOT Hospitals, where the paediatric cardiac team has recommended early AVSD repair surgery to save her life and improve her future health. The estimated cost of the surgery, including ICU care, hospital stay, investigations, and medications, is Rs. 4,50,000.

Miracline’s father, Mr. Ravichandran, works as an executive in a private company and earns only Rs. 15,000 per month. Her mother, Ms. Monisha, who was also employed in the same company, had to leave her job to take care for their baby. The family now survives on a single modest income and is struggling to meet even their daily expenses.

As loving parents, they are doing everything possible to save their only child, but the surgery cost is far beyond their means. They are now looking to kind-hearted individuals, friends, well-wishers, and donors for support during this difficult time.
