Master Nilan, a two-year-old boy from Krishnagiri District, began experiencing severe breathing difficulty along with persistent cold and cough when he was just three months old. His parents initially took him to a private clinic, where he was diagnosed with a congenital heart disease. He was subsequently referred to a higher centre for further treatment and was also evaluated at various Government Hospitals. Later, he was referred to the free cardiac screening camp conducted by MIOT Hospitals at Krishnagiri Government Hospital.
During the screening camp, Nilan was found to have a complex congenital heart defect and was advised to undergo detailed evaluation at MIOT Hospitals.
Following comprehensive investigations, Nilan was diagnosed with Large VSD shunt, Dysplastic Mitral Valve with Grade II MR, and Pulmonary Hypertension. Considering the severity of his condition, the medical team has recommended early VSD closure along with Mitral Valve Repair.
The estimated cost of the surgery is ₹3,50,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs Fifty Thousand only).
Nilan’s father, Mr. Cendrayan, works as a carpenter on a daily wage of ₹400/-. His employment is irregular, and he often remains without work for several days, making his income highly unstable. As the sole earning member of the family, he struggles to meet even the basic household expenses. In these circumstances, arranging the amount required for his son’s life-saving heart surgery is beyond the family’s financial capacity.
We therefore make a humble and heartfelt appeal extend your generous financial support for Master Nilan’s surgery. Your valuable contribution will help ensure that he receives timely medical treatment and the opportunity to grow up healthy, active, and free from the burden of heart disease.
