Master Sujith, a 10-year-old boy from Chennai District, currently studying in Class 5 at a Government School.
Sujith had undergone a herniotomy surgery at the age of one and had remained otherwise asymptomatic. During a routine school health check-up, doctors detected a heart murmur and referred him to a free cardiac screening camp conducted at the Government Hospital, Chennai. The medical team from MIOT Hospitals evaluated him and advised further investigations.
Following detailed tests at MIOT Hospitals, Sujith has been diagnosed with a Large Ostium Secundum Atrial Septal Defect (Large OS ASD), a congenital heart condition that requires urgent medical intervention. Doctors have recommended an elective ASD device closure procedure to correct the defect and prevent serious future complications.
The estimated cost for the treatment is Rs. 2,00,000/-, which includes which includes procedure, ICU and hospital stay, Post-operative investigations, Medicines and medical care.
Sujith’s father, Mr. Arumugam, is a mason who gets only irregular daily wage work and earns approximately Rs. 9,000/- per month. With such limited income, the family is unable to bear the expenses required for their child’s life-saving treatment.
We therefore earnestly appeal to all kind-hearted individuals, philanthropists, and well-wishers to extend their generous financial support for Sujith’s treatment. Your valuable contribution can help save a young life and give this child the opportunity to lead a healthy and happy future.
