Dhanuvarsha – A Step Closer to a Healthy Future

10 Feb 2026 Patient photo

Dhanuvarsha, a 1-year-and-4-month-old child from Dharmapuri district, began facing serious health challenges when she was just 2 months old. She developed breathing difficulties and was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect after being taken to a private hospital. Over time, her recurring symptoms and poor weight gain made treatment increasingly urgent.

A Village Health Nurse referred Dhanuvarsha to a free cardiac screening camp conducted by MIOT Hospitals at Dharmapuri Government Hospital. Following detailed evaluation and investigations at MIOT, doctors diagnosed a large perimembranous ventricular septal defect (VSD) with severe hyperkinetic PAH and advised elective VSD closure surgery to safeguard her health.

With the compassionate support of generous donors, the required funds of Rs. 2,80,000 have now been successfully raised, bringing immense relief to her family. Dhanuvarsha is now preparing to undergo her life-saving treatment under expert medical care.

Our Heartfelt Thanks to Our Supporters

We extend our sincere gratitude to every donor who stepped forward to support Dhanuvarsha. Your kindness has removed a major financial barrier and given her family renewed hope during a difficult time.

Because of you, Dhanuvarsha is one step closer to a healthier future.

Thank you for being an essential part of this journey.
