Urgent Help Needed for Mithra Sri. S’s Heart Surgery
Mithra Sri. S is a 4-year-old child from Pallipattu village, Tiruvallur District. She was asymptomatic since birth. In 2025, during a routine school health check-up, she was suspected to have a cardiac condition. She was subsequently referred to a free cardiac screening camp conducted by MIOT Hospitals at Thiruvallur Government Hospital.
After initial evaluation, she was advised to visit MIOT Hospitals for further assessment. Following detailed investigations, she was diagnosed with Moderate Secundum Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) with no pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). The medical team has recommended an ASD device closure procedure. The estimated cost of the procedure is Rs. 2,00,000/-.
Mithra Sri’s father, Mr. Sababathi, is a welder earning approximately Rs. 500 per day, with irregular employment. At times, he works as a daily-wage agricultural laborer to support his family. Due to their limited and unstable income, the family is unable to afford the cost of the treatment.
Therefore, we humbly request financial assistance to help save this little girl’s life and give her a chance at a healthy and hopeful future.
