Nilavalaki’s parents, Tamil Selvan and Manju, have brought their little baby to Chennai in a very distraught state. They had no inkling that their baby had a heart problem. Nothing was informed in the prenatal stage either. But as the baby was constantly falling ill, it was only a few weeks ago that the pediatrician in their local hospital felt the heartbeat was rapid and then, through investigations, diagnosed the child had a heart problem.
Later they were referred to MIOT Hospitals for a consultation by a doctor. Nilavalaki was diagnosed to have unobstructed TAPVC with dual drainage (cardiac & supracardiac). She was advised to undergo elective surgery—TAPVC repair for correction of the same. The cost of the procedure was Rs.350,000/-.
The anxious parents, Tamil Selvan and Manju, request any help from well-wishers as the doctors have mentioned this surgery will need to be undertaken within a month, and they are desperate as they have no means of finding the money to save their little one and are not even in a position to contribute.
So we reached out to well-wishers and kind-hearted individuals, hoping for a miracle. Through their generosity, the funds were raised to cover the costs of Nilavalaki’s surgery.
With the funds secured, Nilavalaki underwent the much-needed surgery on 24.01.2025, and the procedure was a success. The young girl, who had been so fragile and weak, began to recover rapidly. Her health improved significantly, and the joy in her parents’ hearts was indescribable.
