Jaswanth, a 6years-old boy from Thiruvallur district, is a bright Class I student in a government school. His journey has been far from easy. At the age of 3, Jaswanth underwent a critical procedure – ASD closure and Mitral valve repair at MIOT Hospitals to correct a heart condition.
While the surgery initially gave him hope, it became clear that he would need another procedure to repair his mitral valve once again. This redo surgery, though vital for his health and future, comes at a significant cost of Rs. 3,50,000, covering surgery, ICU & hospital stay, and post-operative medications.
Jaswanth’s father, Mr. Raja, works as an agricultural laborer, earning only Rs. 1,000 a week. His mother, Deepika, is a homemaker. Despite their hard work and determination, the family struggles to meet basic daily expenses and finds themselves completely helpless when it comes to affording the costly medical treatment for their son.
Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of compassionate donors, CHIME was able to raise the full amount for Jaswanth’s surgery. Today, he is healthy, smiling, and looking forward to a bright and promising future. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank each and every one of you who contributed. Your kindness has given Jaswanth a second chance at life – and for that, we are endlessly grateful.
